FAQ

Does Routedex navigate? No. It's a field guide and a log of the roads you've driven. Always follow road signs and never use your phone while driving.

How does it know which road I drove? While a trip is recording, each GPS position is matched to the numbered routes within about 60 m. A stretch only counts once you've moved along it, so crossing a highway on a bridge doesn't count.

Can I add drives from before I had the app? Yes: import a GPX file from another app, or open a route and use Mark Driven to choose a section by its cities.

A route is missing or wrong. Route data comes from OpenStreetMap. You can fix it there (it reaches the app with the next data update) or email us.

Where is my data? Only on your iPhone. Deleting the app deletes it.
